Foxray Saves Time

SAS recently utilized Limeware's foxray on a project involving equipment additions to existing complex control logic. The foxray tool significantly reduced engineering time and potential errors by providing a clear, easy to follow map of the existing logic. The tool also identified code that was no longer used and could be eliminated. The additions to the control logic were installed on the online system without incident.

Up and Running

Clarksville Gas & Water's new SAS supplied SCADA system is online and collecting data from RTU's designed, fabricated, and installed by SAS. The Rockwell based RTU's are communicating with the SCADA system over a fiber and radio communications infrastructure. The system provides daily usage reports to management and customers, and replaces the legacy service callout system with a more informative and efficient callout system. The SCADA RTU's provide both monitoring and control of the remote stations.

SAS Deploys Foxray at Major Refiner

Major refiner completes evaluation of Limeware's foxray tool for IA Series and decides to purchase the application for their refinery. Key factors in their decision were ease of use, superior integration with the IA Series system, reporting capabilities and support.

SAS Provides DCS Specification & Vendor Evaluation Services

Strategic Automation Services provided support services to an Asphalt Refiner to develop a DCS specification, solicit bids from DCS suppliers, compile the bids into an evaluation matrix and assist the client with the DCS supplier selection.  The project scope includes the supply and installation of: field instrumentation, a new DCS, plant wide fiber control network, and integration with plant historian. 

SAS Awarded $1.8M DCS/SCADA System Upgrade Project
10/10/09

A $1.8M Public Utilities project was awarded to Strategic Automation Services. SAS will provide professional services for project management, system design & engineering, procurement, system integration, installation and startup. DCS and SCADA systems will control and monitor the water, waste water, and gas distribution systems for the client. Also included in the project is a new Client Care Center, which will be used to manage customer service.

Master Services Agreement

SAS signs a multi-year Corporate Master Services Agreement with large refiner in North America. SAS was already providing services to this client through third parties. Now with this Agreement, the various refineries can enlist the support of Strategic Automation Services direct.

John Green Joins SAS!
